How much does a website cost?
We offer a few base packages for businesses starting their online presence. If you need a smaller or bigger site we will tailor a custom package for you. Please submit a quote request or contact us and we will get back to you shortly.
What other costs need to be considered?
To run a website, you will also need to have a domain registered and some hosting space to store your website on. Function5 have a wide range of hosting plans and are able to register any domain name in your behalf.
What is involved in putting a site together?
There are three major elements that form a website.
1. The Content: The site's contents are the words and pictures that are presented on each page of your website. It is important that you put together the words that you want on your website, as no one can describe your business better than you can. This might seem daunting, but don't worry. We can guide you and provide advice through the entire process.
2. The Website Design: This is the look and feel of your website, after an initial meeting with you, Function5 will create a website design based on your feedback. Function5 produces wesiteb designs that are user friendly and visually appealing.
3. Construction: This is the final stage of your websites development. It involves the coding of your website, integration of any custom modules you have requested, search engine optimisation and the integration of Analytics Reporting Software. All our websites are compliant with the standards set out by the World Wide Web Consortium.
What after sales service do you offer?
We pride ourselves on our after sales service, supporting you well after your project is complete. Whether you need simple questions answered or website updates we are always happy to help.
We also provide courtesy services free of charge. For example, if you need an extra email account setup we will see to it, at no extra cost.
How long will my site take to build?
This depends greatly on the complexity of your website. On average our websites take about four weeks to complete. We aim to have your websites design approved in two weeks. We then allow two weeks for the construction of the site.
Once the project has begun, Function5 will advise you of the intended date of completion. If you have a tight deadline, be sure to let us know. We can make arrangements to ensure your deadline is met.
Can I edit my own site?
We can build your website on a Content Management Sytem at no extra cost. Content Management Systems enable you to access a restricted Administration Panel where you can change all of your sites text and pictures. Using a built in What You See is What You Get editor (WYSIWYG) makes the entire process very easy. We also provide training and documention.
How can I track visitors to my site?
Our sites are linked to Google Analytics for comprehensive site analysis. Google Analytics provides comprehensive reporting making it easy to track the amount of visitors you have, how long they spend on the site, which pages are getting the most views and much more. Function5 will provide you with a guide to using Google Analytics once your site has been completed.
